Hi everyone, please note the CHANGE OF DATE to Sunday 11 December for the Observation Run. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT EVERYONE IS NOW WELCOME, not just club members! The run will start at the Burns Club Kambah – 9:30 for a 10 am start, and conclude at the Raiders Club at Weston where the Committee hopes everyone will stop for lunch, and will chip in $20 towards it for each membership (Financial Members ONLY!). This should be a lot of fun, and a challenge for all! You will need to have a co-pilot with you to participate as you will need someone to navigate, and also ‘observe’ some things along the way. Please also ensure you have a phone with a camera, or a digital camera as you will need to provide some ‘proof’ of things you encountered along the way. Hope to see you there. If you are not a financial member, and want to join I will see if we can get some forms there so you can join on the day. Please note that you do not need an EJ or EH to become a member of this great club but it needs to be an old school Holden. Please comment below, or email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know you are coming so we know how many maps etc to print. Cheers!
Hi people, don’t forget the monthly meeting is on tonight at 7:30 at Raiders Weston. Come by 6:30 if you want to have dinner beforehand, as there is usually quite a few of us there for that. New members always welcome, as long as your Holden has a chrome bumper! Hope to see you there!
Thanks to everyone who bought tickets in the raffle for the toolbox and tools today at the Swap Meet at EPIC. The winner was Tammy who has already been successfully contacted. Thanks again for your support!
RVSP arrangement and time have been updated in the post down the page a bit. Please have a read and let people know if you are coming to the Christmas Party – Thanks!!!
Hi everyone, Club Members have been invited to the party at the Hall Shops at 5pm on Friday 28 October. There will be some wine and music and free pizza for Club Members who attend, so come along and enjoy the fun!

The Canberra Swap Meet will be held on Sunday 6 November at Exhibition Park in Canberra. The club will have a stall, and is encouraging members to bring along items to sell. Jack will be out there (the day before) on Saturday morning from 10 AM until 1 pm so you can take your parts to sell – please ensure that they are labelled with your name and the price you want to sell them for, and please give him call on 0408631972 so that he knows you are coming. He will be taking his trailer and will take your stuff home with him so that it is safe until Sunday morning when the Swap Meet is on. The Swap Meet runs from 7 am to 2 pm, and the club will also be holding a raffle on the day with proceeds going towards the Christmas Party. There are further details in the next post.
At the conclusion of the Swap Meet, from 4 pm the Club Christmas Party will be on at the Boundless Playground near the Carillion in Kings Park on Wendouree Drive Parkes, although people will be arriving from 3 pm. Food and soft drinks will be provided for club members, so please come along! For members bringing children, please bring along a small gift for each of your children up to the value of $10. Please let jack email@example.com or Mark firstname.lastname@example.org and Mark.ODonohue@aph.gov.au (please send to both) know that you are coming so they can cater accordingly. We hope to see you all there 🙂
